Stylish Black Butler Sinks in Australia

In our large collection of butler sinks, we also have a range of black sinks in various sizes to suit your modern or heritage kitchen or laundry design.

Combining practicality with classic style, our range of single and double bowl kitchen sinks are ideal for everyday use and will complete your kitchen's vintage, French provincial or Shaker look. Along with our tapwarekitchen handles and accessories, you can customise your kitchen to match your personal style and make your home truly yours.

Belfast Sinks

The Belfast sink is a variation of the Butler sinks. There are only a few differences between the two, in which the Belfast sinks are smaller, which fit a unit of 600mm and also have a deeper bowl.

Our Belfast sinks are featured with a traditional weir overflow which is used to prevent accidental flooding by water spilling on your counter or floor. The traditional weir overflow diverts water back to the drain pipe.

Dimensions for Belfast and Butler Sinks

All of our Belfast and Butler Sinks dimensions may vary by up to plus or minus 2%; we recommend that customers do not cut out work surfaces or units until they have taken delivery of their sink. As all our fireclay sinks are handmade using traditional methods, they are 100% unique.

Accessories for Your Butler Sink

All of our sinks come with waste fittings included in the final price. If you are after a different finish instead of the standard stainless steel basket waste, we have a wide range of different finishes including matte black, brushed gold, brushed nickel, gunmetal and many more sophisticated finishes.

To complete the final look you also want to think about having a matching finish kitchen tap as well as kitchen and cabinet knobs, pull handles and drawer pulls. In our range of kitchen taps, we have a diverse range of styles including single hole mixerskitchen spray tapsbridging sets and wall mounted taps in both the sleek contemporary or traditional heritage styles to suit your ideal perfect home.

To add practicality to your country kitchen add our fireclay kitchen sink drainer with your butler sink, which can be recessed into the counter for a more permanent addition or set on the counter and put away as desired.

The drainer comes with rubber bumper feet to protect your bench top, so that even a timber finish won't be scratched by the ceramic. Pair it with any 1901 Fireclay sink to ensure a colour match. For further installation information, see our installation guide.

Are fireclay sinks durable?

Fireclay is an extremely durable form of ceramic that has a special glaze coating that is fused with the fireclay body during the firing process. During the firing process the clay is transformed into an impact resistant dense material. They're also designed to maintain their sleek appearance for a longer period of time.

Fireclay sinks can be commonly mistaken for ceramic sinks. Fireclay sinks are more durable than ceramic sinks, as they are nonporous and very heat resistant. Ceramic sinks run a higher risk of chipping or scratching.

How to clean your fireclay sink

A fireclay sink’s hard enamel makes it highly scratch-resistant, heat-resistant and stain-resistant material and easy to clean. That said, caring and maintaining these sinks is very simple. We do not recommend using any undiluted chemicals such as bleach in your fireclay sinks.

For regular cleaning, simply use a soft cloth with multipurpose cleaner or soap and water and wiping your sink down daily. In rare cases, the sink’s enamel can chip from handling pots and pans harshly, however this can be prevented from the use of a sink grid or sink mat.
