CB Ideal shower curtain rails are Australian made from brass tubing and are available in a wide range of standard or custom sizes. Choose from a range of rail shapes, finishes and flange styles to suit traditional and contemporary bathrooms.
While most commonly used as shower curtain rails, they can also be used for other suitable decorative and light-duty applications, such as wall-to-wall rods in walk-in wardrobes. Custom Shower Curtain Rails
Custom sizing is available for our CB Ideal shower curtain rail range. This is ideal for bathrooms where the standard rail dimensions do not suit the shower, bath or room layout.
To request a custom size quote, please contact us with the following information:
- Rail type or shape – for example straight, L-shape, U-shape, rectangular or circular
- Required rail dimensions
- Required ceiling support length/s, where applicable
- Flange style – Torrens, Olde Adelaide or Roulette
- Required finish

Flange Styles
Three decorative flange styles are available, allowing the wall and ceiling mounts to coordinate with your preferred bathroom style.

- Torrens: approximately 38mm diameter
- Olde Adelaide: approximately 49mm diameter
- Roulette: approximately 54mm diameter

Ceiling Supports & Rail Sizing
Where a shower curtain rail includes a ceiling support, the standard support arm on many models is supplied at approximately 1000mm and can be trimmed shorter during installation. Custom ceiling support lengths can also be quoted where required.
For manufacturing and transport purposes, rail sections longer than 1200mm may be supplied in multiple sections with internal joiners. For satin finishes, the maximum section length is generally 900mm between joins.
The exact support arrangement and number of joins will depend on the shape, dimensions and finish of the rail selected.
Made to Order
CB Ideal shower curtain rails are made to order and can require approximately 3–6 weeks for manufacture.
As these rails are made to order, they are non-returnable for change of mind, so please measure carefully before ordering.
Production times can vary depending on the selected finish, custom sizing and current manufacturing workload. Please contact us if you require a specific finish lead time or would like a quote for a custom-sized rail.
Matching Shower Curtain Hooks
Matching shower curtain rail hooks are also available and can be added when ordering selected rails from the product page. Choosing hooks in a coordinating finish is an easy way to complete the look.
