Curtain Fittings
Finish your windows with curtain fittings that feel at home alongside your handles and other hardware. Our range includes decorative rod brackets, rings, finials, holdbacks and curtain sweeps, with traditional brass styles and a choice of finishes across the collection. A polished brass detail brings warmth to painted timber, while darker and aged finishes sit comfortably in heritage rooms.
Choose fittings for the way your curtains hang
For curtains on a pole, start with the rod size, then choose compatible brackets, rings and end finials. Bracket projection determines how far the pole sits from the wall, so allow room for the curtain to clear the window trim. For a track system, use fittings intended for that track rather than assuming decorative pole accessories will work.
Holdbacks and curtain sweeps keep the fabric drawn to the side and make a lovely finishing detail when the curtains are open. Choose a shape and projection that comfortably holds the gathered fabric. A smaller tie-back hook serves a different purpose: it gives a fabric tie-back somewhere to attach.
Bring the finishes together
Coordinate the fittings with your window hardware, or choose a contrasting finish you enjoy. An exact match is not essential; similar colour and sheen can give a coordinated look. Finish names and appearance vary between brands, so our team can help find the closest visual match.
When replacing fittings, measure the existing fixing centres and the base size as well as the part you can see. A larger decorative end does not necessarily cover old screw holes or paint marks. Use fixings suited to the wall or timber behind the fitting, and follow the selected range's installation guidance.
Putting a complete window together? Count the brackets, rings, finials and holdbacks separately and check the listed inclusions. If you need help with a rod length or a combination of fittings, send our team the sizes, quantity and finish so we can help you complete the order.
Curtain fitting FAQs
Use the rod diameter and the ring's stated internal opening to establish the fit. The ring needs clearance to move along the rod; matching the two nominal sizes is not enough. Also check how the curtain attaches to the ring, particularly when replacing part of an existing set.
They are made for particular rod sizes and fixing arrangements. Match the specified rod diameter, and check whether the finial slides over the pole end or uses another connection. A similar-looking fitting from another range may fit differently.
Gather the curtain at the height you like before marking the fixing position. Try both sides with the curtains hanging naturally so you can judge the drape and how much of the window stays open. Let the curtain thickness and the holdback's projection guide the choice rather than relying on one universal height.
Yes. Send our team a clear photo, measurements and the finish you are trying to match. We can help identify a suitable style or the closest visual match. Similar colour and sheen often coordinate well, even when the pieces come from different ranges.
