Bath Taps

Traditional cross handles, porcelain levers and clean modern shapes give bath taps very different personalities. Choose warm brass tones for a classic bathroom, chrome for a crisp finish, or black for a stronger contrast. Our bath tapware includes wall, hob and floor-mounted options, so you can find a style that works with your bath and the way you like to use it.

Choose where your bath taps will sit

  • Wall mounted: keeps the bath edge clear, with the spout and controls fitted above or beside the bath.
  • Hob mounted: suits a bath surround or suitable tap ledge, with room for the spout and controls.
  • Floor mounted: places the tapware beside a freestanding bath and needs plumbing planned for that position.

Look at the bath and tapware together before settling on a layout. The spout needs enough reach to clear the rim and deliver water inside the bath. Its height also matters, particularly with a tall-sided freestanding bath. Use the dimension drawings for the selected fittings and have your plumber confirm the layout before installation.

A bath filler or a hand shower?

A simple bath filler is a lovely choice when you just want to run a bath. For rinsing hair or washing down the bath afterwards, telephone bath taps with a hand shower offer extra flexibility and a traditional look. Choose an assembly designed for the functions you want; a standard bath spout does not automatically accept a shower hose.

If you are planning a shower over the bath, the controls, diverter and shower fittings need to work together. A diverter changes where the water goes, such as between the bath spout and shower. Our team can help you put a compatible selection together.

Bring the bathroom finishes together

Coordinating your bathroom tapware within the same range is an easy starting point. When mixing brands, compare the colour and sheen rather than relying on a finish name alone. Brass finishes can look quite different, and some are designed to develop a patina while others retain their original appearance. Our traditional bathroom guide offers more ideas for bringing the room together.

Bath tap FAQs

It depends on the existing fittings and the replacement set. Keeping the same mounting arrangement can simplify a replacement, but hole spacing, in-wall parts and connections still need to match. Photos and measurements of your current setup will help our team narrow the options; your plumber can confirm what will fit.

Listings can be for a complete assembly or for separate controls and outlets. Read the inclusions for your selection, including any required in-wall body or floor-mounting components, so your plumber has the parts needed before installation.

Water-pressure requirements vary between fittings. Compare the specified operating pressure with your home's supply, especially if you have a gravity-fed or low-pressure system. Your plumber can confirm suitability; an attractive finish alone does not establish compatibility.

Yes. Send our team a photo of the bath or existing taps, the mounting position and the finish you would like. We can help with product details and coordinating pieces. For change-of-mind returns, read our current returns policy before ordering, as conditions and exclusions apply.
