Get the Look: The Block's Kitchen Week 2022

Our favourite from Kitchen Week belonged to Dylan & Jenny - this kitchen effortlessly combines traditional, country and contemporary elements into a warm, inviting and highly functional space.

A butler's pantry, an earthy colour palette, miles of benchspace and farmhouse touches - this kitchen is a dream for both entertaining and daily life.

We've selected the perfect Restoration Online products to help you create your own look inspired by this amazing space from The Block!

The main kitchen featured sage green cabinetry, timber shelving and floorboards, tiled splashbacks and caesarstone benchtops. Satin brass drawer pulls and knobs perfectly complent the brushed brass mixer tap, adding a contemporary touch to the traditional farmhouse look. Overall, the elements combine to result in a cosy yet luxurious space we can imagine spending a lot of time in.

To recreate this look, we suggest:

Hepburn Highland Drawer Pull - 97mm - Acid Washed Brass

Hepburn Ascot Cabinet Knob - Acid Washed Brass

Fienza Kaya Kitchen Mixer Tap with Pull Out Spray - Swivel Spout - Urban Brass

1901 Butler Sink - 755 x 455 x 255mm - Gloss White

Lighting Inspirations Manor Medium Lantern Chain Pendant Light - 480 x 250mm - Bronze

Of course, no kitchen from The Block is complete without a butler's pantry. Tucked away and perfect for entertaining, making a mess and storing appliances, this space is truly about function - but certainly doesn't sacrifice beauty!

To create a look inspired by the butler's pantry in Dylan & Jenny's kitchen, these items are our choices:

Tradco Henley Lever Door Handle - 180 x 50mm - Polished Brass

Armando Vicario Tink Kitchen Mixer Tap with Pull Out Spray - Swivel Spout - Brushed Gold

Hepburn Highland Drawer Pull - 97mm - Acid Washed Brass

1901 Butler Sink - 755 x 455 x 255mm - Gloss White

We strongly believe in bringing your own personal style into a space, even if your overall design or theme is inspired by a particular prject, such as a kitchen on The Block or a design you've seen on Pinterest. Having an idea of the overall look you want to create is important, but having the flexibility to add pieces that you absolutely love is key. You might want to swap the inset sink for an exposed, undermounted Butler sink for a more traditional look; or swap to pull handles rather than cup pulls.
