The From The Anvil Diamond Privacy Turn is a traditionally styled piece, perfect for adding a touch of classic elegance to your interior doors. Crafted from mild steel with an external beeswax finish, this privacy turn offers a unique, tactile experience. The rich, matte beeswax finish, unique to From The Anvil, boasts a deep color range from blue to red ochre. This natural finish provides a softer alternative to black powder coating and complements From The Anvil mortice knob sets and lever on rose handles. This turn is designed for face-fix installation and is reversible for use on both left and right hinged doors.
Supplied with matching screws, this privacy turn features a 51 x 51mm backplate with a 35mm projection and a 5mm spindle. It's designed to suit a 47mm door thickness. Please note that this privacy turn requires a separate privacy latch for it to function (latches are not available in external beeswax and will be supplied in black). Also be aware that the beeswax finish leaves a tactile residue and may cause black marks on surfaces it comes into contact with.

Maintaining Your Beeswax Finish:
While the beeswax finish offers robust protection, we recommend occasional application of ‘Maintenance Wax’ (33002) for added protection. Regular oiling of moving parts is also recommended. From The Anvil products are imported from the UK and available in Australia through Restoration Online. Lead times can be 3-5 weeks.
