The antique pewter finish results from a complex process applied to the solid brass, offering a beautiful, smoother finish than our pewter patina finish. For longevity, regular oiling of all moving parts is recommended, especially during installation. An occasional wipe with an oily cloth will also help protect it from the elements. This handle is held securely in place by the rim cylinder and night latch, compressing the location pin into the door upon installation.
