A flat shipping rate of $11.00 applies to all From the Anvil orders.
The From the Anvil range is imported from the United Kingdom and is available in Australia exclusively through Restoration Online.
Please allow approximately 3-5 weeks for delivery.
Deliveries are normally sent via Australia Post, although larger orders may be sent by courier.
When your order arrives, please check the items carefully and contact us within 48 hours if there is any damage or if something doesn’t look right. Our team will assist promptly.

If your order includes items from multiple brands, the shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on the products selected, and your items may arrive in separate parcels.

Returns

Change of mind: Please contact us within 90 days of receiving your order. Returned items must arrive back to us within this 90-day period.
Restocking fee: A restocking fee applies. The rate can vary, so please phone or email us to confirm the current amount.
Return Authorisation (RA): Contact us to begin a return and we will issue an RA form for you to include with your item. We will also provide the correct return address.
RA validity: The RA is valid for 10 business days, so please ensure your return is sent within this period.
Return postage: Return postage is your responsibility. We recommend using insured postage and packing the item securely, as we cannot refund items damaged in transit.
Condition of goods: Items must be unopened, in original packaging, with all packaging intact and in resaleable condition.
Packing requirements: Please pack items securely. Loose parts such as screws or bolts can cause scratches or breakages, so ensure there is no metal-on-metal contact.
Installed items: We cannot accept returns for any item that has been installed.

This beautifully crafted privacy turn is perfect for adding a touch of traditional elegance to your interior doors. Finished in a unique external beeswax, this privacy turn boasts a rich, matte appearance, offering a softer alternative to black powder-coated finishes. The beeswax finish, exclusive to From The Anvil, provides a natural, tactile feel and ranges in color from subtle blues to deep red ochre. Crafted from mild steel, this durable hardware is designed to withstand daily use while complementing From The Anvil mortice knob sets and lever-on-rose handles. Supplied with all necessary fixings and screws, installation is straightforward and concealed for a clean, seamless look.

This privacy turn is reversible, suitable for both left and right-hinged doors, and features a low (emergency release) security level. Please note that a separate privacy latch is required for proper function (latches are not available in external beeswax and will be supplied in black). The 5mm spindle and 53mm backplate ensure compatibility with standard door thicknesses up to 67mm. Explore the full Art Deco Range for coordinating hardware to complete the look throughout your home. Care Instructions: While the beeswax finish offers excellent protection, we recommend periodically applying Maintenance Wax (33002) to further enhance its longevity and protect against external elements. Regular oiling of moving parts is also recommended. For accompanying internal products, a beeswax finish is suggested.

Please Note: The external beeswax finish has a tactile, waxy residue that may leave marks on surfaces it comes into contact with. All measurements provided are approximate due to the handmade nature of the product.
