    What is a backset? This is the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the door handle backplate. The correct backset latch will help centre the door handle on the stile (the vertical piece of timber that the handle is screwed to).

  • Add Antique Copper Cylinder? (If you don't have an existing cylinder, will need one for this to function)

    Euro cylinder size is determined by adding the thickness of the escutcheon or door handle backplate (x2) to the thickness of the door. You will want to purchase the cylinder the next size up from the measurement you calculated.
