This Tradco fan controller is designed for use with HPM branded fans. Be aware that other fan motors may produce a hum at controlled speeds. This isn't a fault with the controller, but rather a result of lamination vibration* within the motor and won't cause damage. Please note that installed items cannot be returned.
This product requires a complete switch with surround for installation. The fan controller then replaces the existing switch mechanism. This allows you to upgrade your existing setup easily.
